Networking meet & greet  (5 – 9pm) – The Big Red Barnmap

Coming in to Ithaca on Thursday or maybe you live nearby? Located in the center of the Cornell Campus, the Big Red Barn is a beautiful spot to spend a Summer evening. Stop in and enjoy some Finger Lakes and imported artisan meats and cheeses, hummus, assorted marinated vegetables, focaccia, and more. There will be a beer and wine cash bar as well. We plan to have various fun activities available inside and outside in the scenic Urn Garden, such as, board and card games, Karaoke, bocce ball and a photo booth. Reconnect with your HighedWeb friends and meet new ones! Come and go as you please or stay the whole time.

Optional Activities

Friday Post-conference (6pm – 9pm)map

Meetup for dinner (on your own) at Ithaca Beer’s Taproom. We’ll head over right after the conference wraps up. Grab a beer, some food and hang out on the patio. We’ll try to reserve several picnic tables in proximity to each other but Friday’s can be quite busy there so we’ll just have to wait and see. Bring your families if you want. Car pooling is recommended so use the power of social media to get a ride if you need one.

Weekend Activities

The conference will be over on Friday, but that doesn’t mean your trip to Ithaca has to end. Take advantage of the beauty and bounty of the Finger Lakes with an extended weekend. Here are just some ideas of things to do and see. Check out the Ithaca Visitor Bureau‘s great website.
